If we were to take the belief in God completely out of the equation , there would still be the need to find that sense of "Awe & Wonder" and one's place in the world . A sense of the sacred seems to come upon some of us at early ages naturally in life as almost there were a prediliction for this in our nature , of which i believe there certainly is .

Interesting read on the "Sacred" being taught as the core of an approach to education , though more than a little idealistic and some think impracticable, still the same thoughts were mirrored by Einstein in his statements for our reasons for being ...or we were better off dead .

Something that is within reach of all of us ? Not based or
constrained by time , or culture or nation?

A good little read, happened to attend a few of his lectures when only 13/14yrs old @ University .Was an intensely attractive little man .

There is a bridge being crossed today between the secular and the older religious dogmatic forms (and marxist/capitalism), seems easily seen in the enviromental movements and a rebirth of Pantheism. Some of the best examples of selfless love are often found in this arena .
