Bush himself went AWOL in 1971, so I'm sure he understands why our troops don't want to stay in Iraq, and why they're not joining up the way they used to. Also why many of them are deserting like Bush himself did. As John Murtha points out, morale stinks. Divorce rates are up 70% in the military which proves the stress rate. All kinds of negative ramifications are spreading through our military adnw eakening it day by day. Kerry would have taken care of our troops the way they should be taken care of. And he would not have us quagmired in Iraq during a civil war. He would also tell the American people the truth, which Bush rarely does.
