"I am not convinced of anything."
A promising beginning......except that didn't seem to stop you from pissing on Adrian.
True
" From what I see and deduce, Walsh is guilty."
Join the club.
No club needed, thanks, just stating an opinion
"The only thing that changed is that I do not have this compelling drive to prove it anymore."
Well, good for you, Keith. What would you call this, catharsis, epiphany, personal growth? And btw, are you under the delusion that the people working to save Bresea see this as the central question anyway, and that in fact they give a damn, either about Walsh's guilt or your opinion? No, from the amount of communication on the subject, it appears that only you and I seem to care what my opinion is right this second. Being a betting man, I would say shortly that you will quickly off that list. But that is OK too! If I had to pick one of your characterizations I would probably go with personal growth
"As for a viscious attack on duP by O'49er, I think you may want to review the posts and see who is the rapid dog."
I've read the posts, Keith, most more than once. I know who's who and what's what. Who the rapid dog is, and who the rabbit, will develop shortly. You are permitted to speculate on the outcome based on your point of view from the Pro-Bresea camp, the Walshpaper camp, or the Compleat Twit camp. Pick one and join in.
Since you have Bre-Sea paper I suspect that you will not be joining me in the compleat twit camp. However I will save you a spot on the floor to sit on beside the chairs, as judging by your black-and-white vision you may just get pushed into the group and forced to take dual citizenship.
"As for mikesloan being Merrick Walsh. It is not proven by any means......not QED proven."
Not on the thread, it's not.....so far. The existence of Life and even information about certain lifeforms off the thread is a theory gaining favour in some circles, of course those circles being off-thread may somewhat distort their objectivity. Bit of a loop, whot?
Hence, my pissing on duP as you put it. The guy backed himself into a cage and locked it when he came on the thread again with the announcement that he was a paid investigator. I did not feel at the time that this was correct, so I reached in through his self created bars and unlocked the cage from the inside, and opened it up. My suspicions of his nature were there, but I wanted to give him another chance. I asked a simple question to answer as his exchange for freedom. He chose to not communicate although he has information as he later so pointedly dramatized. Best to keep information festering in a backroom somewhere?
"As for the Bre-x thread, in the past I viewed the pro-Walsher's with suspicion of collusion and being paid by Bre-X."
Uh-huh, uh-huh...and then? One sees a "but" coming at this point.... Take a look marcos, there was a 'but'...or is it just that the 'but' statement was not the one you wanted to hear.
" But I have finally seen a way for a pro-Walsh person to maintain an honest pro-Walsh sentiment without being a part of some illicit group. When I say honest, I do not imply that a pro-Walsher does not have doubts, just that the choice taken is to not be interested in talking about Walsh being guilty."
Ah, the meat....Well said, Keith, but irrelevant. Yes, they may simply be innocently deluded, but who cares? The pro-Bresea camp is interested in the relative guilt of DW only to demonstrate that he is universally regarded as tainted, he is a moron or a crook, a crook or a moron, there is no third choice. Would you buy shares in a David Walsh company? I wouldn't. Ole 49r and Lalit might say they would, but between you and me, they would be more likely to accept options than to pay cash, they are mis-guided people, not stupid people. Perhaps you may want to think this one all the way through. The concept is so simple but since I was a non-shareholder and here to discuss the Bre-x phenomenom, not Bre-x the company, I did not see the simple answer. Ask yourself why would O'49er and Lalit, who are obviously intelligent do what they are doing. Try to see their point of view.
" That is OK by me, free choice."
Uh-huh....yes, we all have a free choice, don't we? Some do, and some piss on those who do. Some support Bresea, and some support Walsh.
Where do you stand, Keith? Are you a shareholder? I notice you flamed Adrian for speaking his mind, just what is your justification for speaking yours?
Not a shareholder, though I almost bought in thinking that the Freeport thing had to be a major shakeout. But my lack of clarity on the matter, I realized I needed to sit it out. I did not flame him for speaking his mind. I chose to see his motives as they are instead of how I think any good 'watchdog' should be. I just cannot see him as some impartial watchdog looking out for the best interests of 'all' investors anymore. I believe his true political motivations are amply displayed. Thanks, but I choose to not support a loose cannon in such a role. Truth is, what do we have....a 'watchdog'.....why not just support the BCSC, and not some self appointed white-knight who thinks he 'knows best' I see the error of my ways and spoke it so that others who have seen my support of this unofficial office, as a false office now.
