I have to doubt that the investment community has even started to grasp the significants of the last sale of Veridium's Oil extraction system. Having sold the first meat packing plant, Veridium will find it much easier to sell the next, and the next.
This will at least double the possible sales areas for this technology. Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey, etc. packing plants. Veridium not only gives the packing plant a whole new revenue stream, it greatly reduces the cost of disposing of this formerly waste product.
Ethanol plants are already in the energy business, so this was a much easier sale to them, and with 61 more ethanol plants up and running and in need of this technology, and 33 under construction, the corn to ethanol industry is still wide open for development. At this point Veridium has sold 4 ethanol refineries, there are a total of 65 in production so the goal is 61 more. There are also 33 under construction, a further opportunity. Veridium in their recent shareholder letter expressed the intention to sell them all.
"A key Veridium goal for FY2006 is to bring our patented and proprietary technologies to ethanol producers in ways that seek to enhance production efficiencies and ensure rapid customer acceptance. On this, we intend to be relentless until we hit market saturation - it is our goal to bring a succession of technologies to ethanol producers that drive costs down and increase revenues on existing infrastructure."
In ways this technology is more beneficial to the meat packing industry in that it converts a waste stream that is difficult to dispose of, "landfill". Reduces it by 80% and produces an increase to the bottom line not counting savings in disposal costs of at least the same amount as Veridium receives. $2.2 million, depending on the size of the operation.
Veridium, and it's parent company Greenshift are both no brainer stocks to look at. Do your own Due Diligence, the Greenshift family is complex and they have new business models that maximize the possible income streams and concentrate benefiting each other for maximum gain for Greenshift.
