Buy a house in Florida today and tell me there is no inflation and I will be impressed that prices have not risen. Tell me that you bought a house in Florida 20 years ago and that as a result your taxes and cost of living are in some ways locked in at a lower rate than newcomers would experience and I see no way that you can say that your experience proves much about price increases in the market today. The reason your costs are lower is that you are NOT in the market for a house.
