PARIS - A beleaguered Air France filed for bankruptcy protection today amid accusations of US treachery. According to an Air France spokesman, the company had bought 100 new planes and hired hundreds of new pilots to accommodate the expected flood of US Liberals, who promised by the millions to move to France if President Bush was re-elected. The exodus has not occured to date and the company cannot meet its financial obligations. "Never trust a Lib," said the Air France spokesman.
