Assuming we lived in a Christian Nation, as you suggest, or a theocracy....just a hypothetical. If a President commited a moral sin would that qualify as a high crime or misdemeanor under the Constitution? I remember all the back and forth in 1998 about what a "high crime" was, and since it is not specifically defined unlike treason, I wonder what such a crime might entail. If the President had an affair and didn't lie about it...told the truth....or he converted to Buddhism.....could he be impeached?
