American soldiers in todays army didnt deliberately kill a six month old baby. If i am proved wrong, it was a lone sick soul who did it and he should be executed. IF others watched they should go to jail. In earlier wars and in iraq, occasionally there are atrocities. Abu Graib was one. Mai Lai in vietnam was far more severe. Pershaps in iraq there is a spot where americans shot indiscriminately at civilians but that is not the act described in the article you posted.
