Kerm, I didn't notice this news release at Kerm's Korner.

fin-info.com

I called Symmetry and asked how this decision transpired. They told me that Amber (the operator of the 3 wells in question), through a administrative mistake, submitted the AEUB GPP application late and consequently the decision to retire overproduction.

This decision to shut-in production from the 3 wells until February, will definitely affect production targets and cash flow.

From a technical perspective, the stock price has trended lower hitting I believe a low of 1.11 this week.

What is your opinion about this whole affair. ?

Did Amber to this deliberately to get a better price for Symmetry if they are interested in low balling the market and getting the stock on the cheap ? These production volumes are tiny for Amber in comparison
Symmetry.

IMO, I think this is a good time to buy Symmetry.

Good investing
