I think that's far-fetched myself. But, in my opinion, it is credible that they saw an opportunity to force Britain's hand when Britain's back was against the wall in WW1 by bringing the US into the war. Furthermore, they had the necessary means with which to do it, namely, the Zimmerman telegram, the Brandeis connection to Pres Wilson and, more than likely, agents in both the British and German navies, especially the latter. After that, everything which happened was almost by reflex action, one event leading to another and most of the events, in fact, circumstantial.

The fundamental and, indeed, existential question is what a Jew is supposed to "be". Is a Jew a member of a race, a nation in exile, a cult, what? Furthermore, what is the role of the Jewish religion? And because there are many interpretations to those question there are also many answers. Indeed, "the Jewish Question" has been posed and answered since time immemorial.

Without any doubt. And don't forget that the "Randlords", who were the ones behind the Anglo-Boer War and the plunder of the gold and diamonds in what became South Africa were, by and large, all Jewish. As everyone knows, theft and imperial conquest were de rigueur in the 19th Century.
