She got away, good...American Justice had a show about a mommie dearest who was finally put away. It was dreadful. She actually shot one of her daughters. So the daughter decided to leave home, but the mom said she had to take the bullet out first, which removal with a dirty X-Acto knife caused an infection, then she had her sons take the barely alive girl out to a field and set her on fire while she was still breathing...later, another daughter was locked in a closet until she starved to death. That's why I don't watch American Justice anymore. it makes me sick how horrid people, of all kinds, can be.
