Right. I read that. Do you not think that pointing out that Bush and the Republican congress have increased the size of our government to a new record is a relevant response to that?

I'd also like to know what makes you say Kerry wants a bigger government, other than the fact that conservative pundits like to say he does.

Kerry has said that he believes we should rescind the tax cuts for the richest 2% of Americans in order to reduce the deficit. He's on record saying that repeatedly. He has not said we need to raise taxes so we can spend more.

PS: Why are we debating about Kerry, anyway? What does he have to do with the way Bush has created a huge debt that our children and their children will have to pay?
