Richard O. Weed, Managing Partner. Mr. Weed's areas of practice are Securities, Business Law, Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures, Corporate Law, and Litigation.
Mr. Weed's abilities are the result of his graduate business and legal education and association with prominent law firms in California and Texas . Mr. Weed received a Master of Business Administration – International Management in from the University of Southern California , a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration – International Business from the University of Texas at Austin . While at St. Mary's University School of Law, he served as Senior Associate Editor of the St. Mary's Law Journal.
Prior to founding Weed & Co. LLP, Mr. Weed gained experience by practicing law with two firms. During 1992, he was a Bankruptcy Litigation Staff Attorney at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in Irvine , California . From 1987-1991, Mr. Weed was a Business Litigation Attorney at Foster, Lewis, Langley, Gardner & Banack, Inc., in San Antonio , Texas .
Mr. Weed belongs to the Orange County Bar Association, State Bar of California, State Bar of Texas, and Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Weed was an adjunct professor of law at Western State University College of Law from 1994 – 1996, and was an adjunct professor of business at DeVry Institute of Technology in 1997.
