This is a view I don't understand. Someone should have asked Warner to explain what in the world he was talking about. develop a plan with the Iraqi government and new allies that both prevents the country from splitting into three separate nations Why? Iraq is Yugoslavia, a conglomeration of several nations destined to split, either the easy way or the hard way after years of bloodshed. NATO and the US also tried to prevent Yugoslavia from breaking up. Why? Inexplicable. Only the heavy hand of Tito, who controlled every aspect of daily life, kept it together as long as it did. Iraq is a pretend nation created by the British in a manner designed to create instability and thus a nation whose government would be dependent upon the British. .
