Maybe they skimmed some of the 'dirty parts' like a child with a dictionary looking up rude words. Everybody went for the "Bell Curve" explanation of the the intel differences by race. This was a small part of the book, but the most explosive. Murrey's partner in writing the book died just before it came out and Murrey took all the heat on the talk shows. Murrey's book didn't tell us anything new about the research. It just put it together in one book and publicized it. Everything he wrote was well known in Academia. But it was the "dirty little secret" you were not allowed to talk about. Couldn't do that. Wouldn't be PC.
