Guess this girl's husband and father-in-law had their own 'God Giver Rights':M.

Hey.. That's not my view of "god given rights".. Ask Cnyndwller about it... He's the one who thinks that we don't have a right to interfere to preserve the "GGR" of the victims of someone else's distorted view of their own "GGRs".

And I wonder if his views extend to the US? Does he believe that we should tolerate this kind of repressive view towards apostasty within our own society?

Does this concept of "non-interference" in the lives of others translate to our country, even when they choose to violate the rights of others who live here?

CD would have us believe that democractic reform is not possible in the Muslim world because it's going to violate someone's rights there to have their particular view of God dominate other people views.

I would state that democratic reform is the ONLY way to promote tolerance and compromise between such disparate views.

The alternative is pretty ugly to contemplate... where the "strong do what they will, and the weak suffer what they must".. And eventually this dictate is going to be applied to us as well.

So why people can continue to claim that it's not appropriate for US Foreign Policy to promote democractic reform and accountable government WITH AN UNDERLYING BILL OF HUMAN RIGHTS, continues to confound me.

Is this just elitism, indifference, or subtle racism?
