In my local bubble FL market the spin doctors were pumping the rosy job market for recent college graduates. A shortage of workers as boomers leave the work force and few relocations of young people into the area due to very high housing prices. Local GDP and job creation is at least 70% internal based on the flow of funds in the local economy. I guess the question is what will replace the drop in economic activity in those markets that lose either the housing driver or good paying jobs to China? Seems the president isn't concerned. Maybe spreading democracy to Iraq saves the day<g>
