It would have to be someone who has massive charisma as well as being brilliant to have a third party who had a chance to win. On the scene today, Rudy Guillani or Arnold "might" have some of the required skills, but the field is indeed very skimpy.

When you get right around to it, you have to ask yourself what kind of special family it is to be able to first do the job, and second, put up with all the bs that goes with the job. ???

In some ways, we Americans get what we deserve. And we are deserving less and less. Too many of us can't even speak English. Too many of us can't even read. Too many of us can't seem to get out of High School, and too many of us haven't a clue as to how to provide for ourselves or our families.

It really may be that we will have to have a basic aptitude test in order to be able to vote. Sounds scary, I know. BUT if we don't get some sort of handle on the politicians, we will continue getting some of the riffraff dressed in suits that seem to pop up with regularity today.
