That is the big retirement question: when the market participants will have to cover their derivatives margins, they will sell anything to raise money. Actually, sell anything and throw the baby with the bath.
So, no instrument would be a place to hide, not even physical as money has to be risen.
Would the best place to hide be cash? Would cash be so scarce it could be more valued?
Or would the guv's print money at a faster rate as more is needed?
Inflation then.
And even cash wouldn't be safe.
