At the VERY least, the people who were rescued this morning, at the great potential expense of someone's else's life and limb, the rescued people should give a heartfelt "Thank You" to the UK and US Special Forces people who rescued them.

On the other hand, people who put themselves in harm's way in unstable areas have no one but themselves to blame if they get in trouble. They alone are responsible for their predicament, and should not expect a valiant effort to rescue them.
