I believe the point is 'democracy' will be shaped by their religious beliefs and culture, which does not give all people equal rights. You are trying to fit a round peg in a square hole. So the alternative is to not even try and relegate ourselves to accepting that Muslims will be forever ruled by Islamo-Fascists? Do you believe that supporting the current authoritarian and totalitarian regimes in the Muslim world is really the manner in which to fight Islamo-Fascism? And do you believe that such dictatorships, supported by the west, will be able to claim they have more moral authority than a government that is democratic, upon which we can THEN apply influence to foster moderation? Really.. I would like to know the answer here Steve.. Sounds to me that you're just willing to accept the status quo... And it was those very attitudes that lead us to 9/11. Hawk
