A fifty year old guy with barely a high school education could make 80k at GM with a little overtime -- those days are gone, never to return. All the moping and narrow-minded finger pointing in the world is not go to bring it back. You can face reality -- the world is teeming with opportunity if you do. Or you can form a choir and whine whatever tune you like. But the dance is not going to be called here. Hundreds of millions of people are streaming into the global economy -- they will not turn back now, and they will not turn back the clock so that poorly educated Americans can live like king's on the backs of their brains and hard work.
