Our military wants the war to end, bimbo. When John Murtha speaks, he speaks for the Pentagon brass who are close confidants of his. These US military leaders are not allowed to openly disagree with Bush, who is their boss. So they use Murtha to do their talking. Secondly, we want our troops to be gung-ho and apolitical, but recent polls and blog entires are showing that about half our troops want to get the hell out and believe Bush's poor panning over there has left them in an impossible position with no way to win. In other words, rightwingers hiding behind the troops is really thin and dishonest. You are just like the liars in 1969 who were trying to tell us everything was fine in Vietnam, that victory was around the next corner and that if we left all of Asia would be swallowed by communism. Total bullcrap, all of it. It was then and it is now.
