conspirators behind every Bush

I think there is only one fundamental conspiracy in the Bush administration, but it is responsible for most of the string of blunders. The basic conspiracy is the one spelled out by the Project for a New American Century. The plan was to make the U.S. into the dominate world power.

The method was to reform the middle east by taking over countries unfriendly to the U.S. and it's ally Israel. Iraq was thought to be the easiest first target. In order to get public support for an attack on Iraq the country had to be galvanized behind a significant event. The PNAC called this the 'New Pearl Harbor'.

When the FBI got wind of potential hyjackings in the country, they decided to stand down. Cheney and the PNAC planned to let a plane be hyjacked and the resulting coverage could be spun into the galvanizing event, the New Pearl Harbor would unify the country enough to launch a war.

The trouble is that Al Qaeda had more than a simple hyjacking planned and 9/11 was the result. That planning and even more so the resultant coverup is the main cause of the continual string of blunders. The insistence on blind obedience, and the tiny circle of advisors and the inability to fire anyone even for cause are all results of the need to keep a tiny, fanatical core to keep the secret. The secret in turn becomes more important than even good governance.

It's only one conspiracy, but it's at the highest level and has gone so disasterously wrong.
