I saw that, but I couldn't convince myself that this guy actually understands how Oracle makes money, either. What I read wasn't inconsistent with the misconception that flat new software license sales is the same thing as no growth in RDBMS revenues, and that is quite wrong. I don't disagree that the market for RDBMS software isn't growing as fast as it used to, and that's a big reason that Oracle's management is putting most of their effort behind growing business applications. But even 0% growth in new license sales is pretty substantial growth in the RDBMS business for Oracle, and they are doing better than that.
