Vermont Research was a customer of ours and I was always intrigued by their product line. They had been on the ASE for quite a while. I bought a ton of it at .75/share. When Storage Computer "went public" by merging with VRC, I thought it seemed like a good fit so I bought some more VRC at 1.50 just before the merger. I've been accumulating all the way up though I flipped some out at 18. I bought it all back at 11-12 and added some more. Since the merger, there has been a lot of growth in their sales and market value. I haven't seen any signs of their market segment slacking off so I think the workout price will be considerably higher. It would be great if they would leave the ASE and go to NASDAQ. I have always felt that the ASE (used to be called the Curb by us old timers) is the porno palace of the investment world.

As far as the price doubling by the end of the year, I never invest for a time frame of less than 5 years. I like it best when the small fish that I own get bought out by bigger fish.
