Someone recently posted that California now has two lottos. Where are all those bucks going? I would add the teacher's union(s) to the list you posted. The union's answer to reports by MSM of poor student performance etc. seems always to be that the Governor took away their money. L.A. barrio teacher Jaime Escalante did not have that problem when he helped his disadvantaged students to learn Calculus. It gets down to the teacher's union addressing their membership honestly and the teacher getting the job done, instead always claiming to be the victim. To quote DB, that is where the rubber meets the road! Parents need to play a bigger role in their child's learning and expect that some discipline actually might be necessary to achieve a result.
