interest in US engineering has plunged partly because

US students suck in math
take two years typically in public high school
and are as dumb as posts

you make a lot of good points
however, the trend I claim is fortified by patents claims
they are coming increasingly from Asia

I am very familiar with statistics, got a PhD in it
I make sampled observations, and live in other observatory labs
my view has been broad for 30 years
you can claim US students turn away from science & engg due to salary
that is shallow as hell

I have known many exchange students in high schools
they come from Germany
they are NOT THE CREAM of the crop, learned after discussions
they come to the US and suddenly, a kid from Munich who was in the middle of his class is in the top#3 in a big West Boston suburban excellent school

you dont know what you are talking about
US students (midrange norm) as as fuchin dumb as posts
they have trouble with percentages and figuring discounts
