>>>What software do you use to track your trading?<<<

This has been discussed here quite a bit.

I use Excel, and Schwab for my brokerage. I have o cut and paste from Schwab into Excel. This is not so easy. I then have do play with the data to morph it from character to numeric. Schwab swears that around September, you will be able to push a button on their site, and blast your trades directly to excel with no BS. I love the control of a spreadsheet.

I used Quicken and TurboTax one year. It was ugly. It gagged on options, and any journaling/correcting entries just blew its mind. I understand it still gags on options - word of mouth from another poster here.

Some folks here swear by gainskeeper. They say it is expensive but works great. I am investigating for next year.
