I don't think Bush Jr. himself was an active neocon. He was deep inside a bubble and kept isolated from news, the public, and anything that Cheney didn't want him to see. He was encouraged to take lots of vacation and filtered information. You could see in his eyes on 9/11 that he didn't have a clue what was what. Bush is a little more aware now after he's been stuck with the legacy of the worst strategic decisions in our country's history. You can see that he doesn't trust Cheney anymore. TP
