"Lured by promise of paychecks" to the "Gulf Opportunity Zone". I've run across some of these guys while touring the Zone. Had a pleasant and informative conversation with a couple while standing in line at a grocery store. Everybody else in the store but us were black. Aside from the cashier, who appeared almost retarded, my guess is that we were the only people in the store with jobs. You know what I told them? "Welcome to America." More power to them. I hope they make a lot of money and have a ton of children just like them. We need more people willing to work. Citizens, schmitizens. I'd support a law that mandated deportation of able-bodied people who were unwilling to work. But nobody would take them.
