I'm not sure if any one company holds the patents for P-B technology. It's likely held by a research facility, probably in Germany. This is about all I had to time to look for.. en.wikipedia.org But given the current state of the Nuclear plant industry, I don't really see how any particular company has anything to lose from competition. Building ANY kind of reactor is a specialized endeavor. Only certain companies have the financial and political resources, engineering know-how, and ability to absorb the risk... Hawk
