Meet the press is interviewing the author of "theocracy in America". The author says republican party is the first religous party and the democratic party is the secular party. I have been saying that for a zillion years. And this means big trouble. As we have seen. The anti intellectual non scientists vs the scientists. Remember god was upset becasue Adam picked an apple (pomagranent)from the tree of kowledge! Just ask yourself what does the word faith mean? It means no facts. If the human species cannot rise above fairy tales we are doomed. That is how serious it is. And bush's presidency is the epitome of how a presidency works where the president cares nothing about thinking and learning. And has no respect for science. Bush has been wrong on every single issue I can think of! Just like they were in the dark ages!! And the author says the middle east is fueled by religion.
