Hey, thanks..some things I was never 'into'..one is playing cards..here's a nice paradox..just thinking about this..I never got into cards because I felt that not enough was in my control..Ok, fine..but I do biotech investing, an occassional day trade because enough is in my control?..I don't even know how to play solitaire..Backgammon is my fave..not smart enuff for chess..nephews proved that one.I'd rather go outside in nature if I have that kind of free time..maybe I'm being defensive because it feels socially awkward to admit this?

Saw Crash tonight on DVD..very nice, well done movie..glad it got Best Picture..had my attention the whole time..good music too..the big screen tackling racism in LA[wow]..one of the more poignant scenes was a young dad allaying his daughter's fear of gunshots[she's about 5-6] by giving her the 'invisible coat' that doesn't let bullets through..damn, she's not supposed to be worrying about that..it's a feel good movie, though..interesting how the lives of the characters weave together..I'm still upset for Adam Morrison..was boo-hissing UCLA til the buzzer today..been a long time that a kid-athelete has done that to me..good thing..
