exactly, globalization is leveling the playing field my point about ample engineering jobs in the USA was exaggerated certain jobs still exist when the job requires tight inter-connected work with clients with frequent site visits and regular contact the jobs continue here when the job requires tight co-sponsored R&D with other firms with frequent visits to the partner firm sites the jobs continue here that leaves the bulk of R&D jobs vulnerable to overseas export / jim
