What a krock. You can't mention that every patriarch in the Elgindy family is involved with terrorist orgs and fronts? Why not? Elgindy got on this very board and declared he was an "agent" of the MTHO, an al Qeada front run by the KLA. He solicited money hear to finance the transport of KLA members into the US wit the assistance of his brother Khaled and Spencer Abraham. Why do the SI sheep give Tony a pass on this and flame anyone bringing these references up?
I was do soming searches on-line because of the Elgindy hearing, just playing around google wondering if there is anything current on Khalid Elgindy. So at google I typed in "Elgindy" and then "search within" AMC ... what came up was the e-mail of complaint that Khaled Elgindy received from an Imam Ali Siddiqui of Riverside County (Corona, Pomona, LaVerne). Well, it dawned on me that the subject of which people complained was Turkey's position to punish young girls in public schools who wanted to wear the head scraf (Hijab) and there was a huge issue about this. I remember it was a huge issue in e-mail with Atta also. So I wondered about the Imam who had the information put on a list to be forwarded by a person who appears to be his daughter, at U.C. Davis. And that is also because Davis is about an hour from St. Helena. So I did some research on Imam Ali Siddiqui who has been here "about 30 years" since leaving Northern India (perhaps read as Kashmir) where he was a practicing Muslim, but not that devout until after he came to the U.S. Since the time of the attacks, he has become much more prominent in Southern California, and has given lectures on the Muslim religion across the county, and is very involved in faith groups -- for understandings -- and not just limited to Christian groups. But what I found interesting is that he is a member of the Islamic Society of Corona, and the various Islamic Societies in the U.S. are less moderate than other looser groups. In addition, his resume (a 2005 edition) indicated he was a member of the international shu'raa of the Jamaat al Muslimeen International 1977 to the present; and 1990 to the present, Ameer of Jamaat al Muslimeen of California. Now keep those years in mind. Neither of these organizations exist in California records, either for charities or corporations, or even as Fictitious Business Name statements in California that I could find. And there are no IRS Form 990 (non-profit records) in the government's database. And when I read up on the organization, Jamaat al Muslimeen in news articles it is the Al Qaeda-related organization led by Bakr who tried to overthrow the secular, elected government of Trinidad & Tobago in 1990 -- articles indicate he got support from Algeria and Colombian drug lords, and the group kicks up its heels now and again. His son was recently bombed/murdered. Another article noted there is also a group by the same name in Bangladesh run by Pakistani. And there was a bombing by the group last July killing more than a dozen. So here is what also rang bells. In 1977, Gul Hekmatyar was "hired" by the CIA (at least the rogue clandestines with the Safari Club) to rally his men and gather mujahadine around him to agitate in Afghanistan. Same year the Jamaat al Muslimeen was created, 1977. AND Ali Siddiqui (who became an Imam later in 1994) just happened to form his group in California at about the time (if not before) the uprising mid-year in Trindad & Tobago. I've forwarded this info to some researchers who have advanced it to check on the hundreds of e-mail accounts listed, one being Khaled Elgindy's Elgindy@erol.com. This is to develop a relationship chart and check for any intersections. As I reviewed the press releases of Jamaat al Muslimeen International, here is what they cover: (1) disgust with Turkey over the prohibitiation on wearing the Hijab in Turkish schools and punishment of young Turkish girls who do this in December 1999 and ongoing (2) advocacy for the Blind Sheikh, and fund-raising efforts, with a list of coordinators for the cause to "free the blind sheikh" (3) an article from November 2001, noting that the situation for Afghan refugees as a result of the American attack was desperate, but that "Hikmatyar" (read Hekmatyar) had provided food and provisions and cards to many of the desperate people (4) an interview with Gul Hekmatyar from his home - at that time in 2002 in Tehran, Iran - talking about how he had already assembled thousands of fighters who would be poised to move again to attack the false government of Karzai when "the opportunity affords itself." There are many e-addresses to colleges and universities, and of course to some apparent media and advocacy groups, <however the e-mail to Elgindy (again, this dates from December 1999) wasn't sent in the context of a relationship to AMC -- another e-mail went to AMC, for example, from the list. At any rate, this matter is being reviewed against databases of e-mail and other things to see if there are any curious/suspicious relationships in this network. What I'm learning is that the experts hadn't known about this Imam and his affiliations, or that there is anything in the U.S. related to Jamaat al Muslimeen, which is exactly what one concludes after checking all databases. The Imam may be completely innocent, have seen the light, or may be an operative. He lectures also at University of LaVerne. La Verne is the location of Air Desert Pacific, where the FBI within days of the attack obtained more than 150 files on students trained there "in the last three years" (as it turns out, five of them all had tickets on the same flight on September 22, 2001, but the flight was canceled and at least one was arrested), of whom 120 were Egyptians. You may recall that Marvin Bush was on the board of Continental Aircraft (I think that's the name) which had obtained a contract for more than 100 small planes for Egypt (as I recall it was the government of Egypt). Also with Pacific in the title of the flight school (Air Desert Pacific) this could have been a clandestine training center, certainly in days yore, since the parent for clandestines was Pacific Corp. He works closely with a couple of Sheriff's deputies who are learning more about Islam and the Arab language. Since the attack, the Imam has been very prominent in peace groups and multi-religions observations and unity; and began a practice of saying prayers before the opening of Corona City Council and Pomona City Council meetings which locals found "just a bit too much" so they filed a lawsuit in 2004 or so to try to stop the practice. I think of the Imam as having worked a type of charm to step over the lines, get people to blur the lines between religious and secular appropriateness. Beginning with the pledge of allegiance is just fine with me -- all one should need for a government assembly. But he has "built his stature" significantly in communities in southern California and has been on a speakers circuit across the country since the attack. It would be very easy for him to "make recommendations about where Zaakat (sp), the tithing, should be sent, for what purpose, for what cause. I also saw a reference from the Imam that the organization operates in CA, across the U.S. and in Canada. There was a specific reference to an individual with Jamaat al Muslimeen of Denver as well. So, there is little way to determine if the Imam is connected to some larger group who would wish us harm (by his bio he is affiliated with a group advocating religious theocracies in vez de secular governments at minimum, and coups) or not. Thus, his name should not be forwarded. I might learn something more -- and those who need this info have it.
Tony was found guilty of stock fraud & other criminal counts. The terrorism ties were not a part of his trial. That doesn't mean they don't exist. The SI sheep go out of their way to quash what the rest of us see as self-evident. |
