Bought more Aussie Dollars Friday (wire to Aus). After my debacle last week with Auburn U. am getting warier and warier of the US....

(Auburn U. refused to pay my expenses due to not being US Citizen unless they set up some complex arrangement to pay through my employer - I am an H1-B - so am resident in US for tax purposes have a SSN etc. - I decided not to go speak there rather than fill out piles of onerous forms - then next day went to meeting where we discussed the international competitive position of our university - am on the planning committee for graduate programs - the Dean of the Grad School did not sound optimistic on the trends to exlcude all foreign born from any access to "sensitive technologies" including in basic research.... currently Chinese are considered a security risk on the same level as Middle Easterners.... but the move is to go to "all foreign born" ... and all the calls for limiting foreign ability to buy US assets... so I maintain a US trading account but mostly repatriate money to Australia... as the Aussie Dollar recently dived this was a good opportunity....
