Nope..how 'bout "In America"..based on true..see Mike, I feel like I have seen it all{the heartache, destruction that my soul needed to educate itself}...70's immigrant girl in the Bronx? yikes..ICU/ER nurse trained in NY, worked in Boston/SF/LA{small stints in latter 2}..I've seen 3rd world conditions in the financial capital of the world, cultural disenfranchisement in the most activist and diverse cities, on and on..bad endings is all I knew; stink, garbage, a life not being worth more than a pair of sneekers, fathers raging, mothers pleading, children begging..
I will only live in gorgeous and safe environs even if I don't necessarily 'relate' to the majority..if diversity means having to be careful of which street I walk down by myself, I want no part of it..if diversity is about passing homeless people after valeting my car on my way to a $200 meal, $400/night hotel room, I want no part of it..why I go to Spain and not Argentina..I will not take pix of anything but beautiful things/people/places..replace those imprinted images that have dug into those neural pathways without my permission!..
