I'd accept all the little straw men you put up. I don't think most judges would prosecute the straw men you describe.

I don't CARE if the illegals are "hard workers", they're ILLEGAL. Most people that help illegals KNOW they're illegal, because they are illegal too, or were at one time, or are exploitng them for low wages and easy manipulation.

Is your lawn boy threatened Amy? That's the point! To dry up the JOBS that lure illegals here in the first place. Replace your lawn boy with a local teenager. You may have to pay him more to get him to do the work. That's a good thing.

Oh, WalMart doesn't employ illegals. They tried it, got spanked, and no longer do it because they can't afford the bad press. Go to one and see! I don't know of any big corporations that employ illegals as a policy. Illegals are employed by small businessmen.

The current "punishement' for employing illegals is a small fine. It NEEDS to be a felony, and it needs to be enforced.
