I think that AMAT's share is about 10% of the overall chip equipment market. With the exception of their small presence in metrology via the OPAL/ORBIT acquisitions, they only participate in front end stuff. In front end equipment, they do not participate in the largest segment of chip equipment, lithography, although this may eventually change via their alliance with ASMLF. An interesting trend over the past few years has been that the overall share of chip equipment sold by the largest 10 manufacturers (AMAT, LAM, Nikon, Cannon, TEL, etc.) has decreased. This is likely due to the appearance of more specialized products as well as niche markets.
