A link on the american paleoindians and mammoths...

usd.edu

There maybe seems to be a general problem in the USA for planning ahead. Like when the paleoindians were killing the last 100 american mammoths, I can just imagine how the conversation went....

The paleoindian republican tribe chiefs were spending most of their time telling the faithfull there was still plenty of mammoth out there to be had. There were a few voices mentioning the fact that the supply of mammoths were running short, and maybe some changes need to be made, but those voices were ignored of course. Economic witch doctor paleoindians extolled the virtues of a free market system and pointed out that mammoth futures never looked better.
