whats amazing about this article on MSFT to me, is that nobody saw this Vista implosion in summer 04. Was this on the blogs, anybody? Because GOOG was bracing for Vista in the fall. I didn't know they started over, then, although I was aware that vista was rearchitected at least one prior time, but that was mostly because the first longhorn was nothing more than a huge spyware product intended to extract money out of asia, and then in the 2001 timeframe the securtiy holes in windoze made themselves known, so there were rumors of a rewrite then, but that was before 02, I thought.
