The above was about me and it was wrong. Dale is not the thread. I am not the thread. There are plenty of people on the thread who could not be defined as "lunatic left". I have no interest in listing them personally, because that would make THEM the subject, and imo, it isn't right to make posters the subject of our commentary. That is one mistake that was made about me- while there are others, I don't care to make myself a subject for you, because (imo) I am really NOT your business. Ideas, facts- I think those are proper subjects- but I don't think tearing apart other posters is. That's just a quirk of mine, I suppose. It certainly appears to be, but it's a quirk I have grown comfortable with, and a quirk I would like to see spread. There is no reason to tear others down. If your ideas are superior, it is enough to mention your ideas; one need not attack the messenger of competing ideas, and in fact, that weakens whatever message you think you have. There is no purpose served by hostility and aggression- save for encouraging hostility and aggression. |
