re: I found this weekends demonstrations pretty disturbing. Even if the politicians don't back down, trying to enforce any laws re. this issue is going to be very difficult. By waving the Mexican flags, I am hoping Latinos overplayed their cards and there is a strong reaction on the part of Americans. This is tough. I feel sorry for those poor SOB's. But I think that in the end, we can't help anyone if we can't provide a decent working wage for our own citizens. It's painful, but they have to go... maybe when we get our own house in order we can increase legal immigration quotas. Do you really think it will be that easy? Its estimated there are 12 million illegals in the US. This weekend they threw down their gauntlet: "For years you have threatened us........now we're telling you how its going to be. We're not leaving..........and there is nothing you can do about it. And if you try to make us leave, we will boycott you." That was the message this past weekend. Just ten years ago they would not have dared to do what they are doing.
