I'm going to watch it again..I forgot to tell you that the photography is excellent..those girls deserved an oscar, imo..I went off on a tangent last night..sorry..it was left over from my post the other night re: good predictable endings/vs. bad endings..nothing to do with "City of God"..which I'll definitely check out..did you see another Brazilian film, "Central Station."?..beeeee-you-tee-ful..sad, too.. imdb.com "Soy Cuba." if you appreciate B^W photography too: a feast[so worth reading about it]..made by the best Soviet filmakers as a propoganda film for USSR citizens [original made in 1960's]transcends it, big time(imo).. imdb.com Fun!..Elisabeth
