I've been a cab driver, truck driver, factory worker, landscape worker (!), pure laborer (literally breaking rocks with a sledge hammer), pizza delivery guy, many other "professions". Worked summers since I was 15. And I still consider myself lazy.

re: Actually landscaping is a combination of art and hard work. Since landscaping now seems to be an almost exclusive skill of immigrants from the South, legal or not, our potential hard working US citizens may need to be taught what they no longer know about same art.

I'll guarantee that there are a whole bunch of high school grads and drop outs that would love to make $12 an hour landscaping. Look at the inner city unemployment rates... their jobs are being taken at discount rates by cheap imported labor.
