President Bush's Future is Now; he cannot afford to have the Democrats take control of Congress in the midterm elections. Even though there is very little difference in principle between most Democrats and Republicans, the Democrats can and will make life extremely miserable for Bush in his 2 remaining years of office if they gain control of Congress.

No way does Bush want to become a lameduck President after the midterm elections and have a Democratic Congress investigate his activities.

Bush cannot afford to wait for a "crack up boom". He desperately needs one NOW.
