The conglomerate said the deal, which would involve running the detector in its Freeport Container Port in the Bahamas, has not been finalised and no agreement has been signed. 'At this point, the arrangement with the US government is still under commercial negotiations and no agreement has been signed yet,' a spokesman for Hutchison Whampoa said. He said it was not sure when the deal would be finalised.
