Toronto, Ontario, March 2, 2006. Roxmark Mines Limited (RMKL – CNQ) today announced an addition and changes to the management team intended to further the Company’s goal of becoming a leading Canadian integrated gold and molybdenum producer.

Effective immediately, J. David Malouf, formerly President, is appointed Vice-Chairman, Business Development; Monir Younan, currently Secretary-Treasurer, takes on the additional position of President; and Louis M. Bernard joins the Company as Senior Vice-President of Operations.

In his new role, Mr. Malouf, the prime architect of Roxmark’s strategy to reinvigorate the Beardmore and Geraldton mining camps, will spearhead a variety of critical programs including metals marketing, joint ventures, business development, and property acquisitions. In addition, he will assist Mr. Bernard with operational and regulatory matters during a transition period.

Mr. Younan, a mining engineer who has made important contributions to the Company’s achievements for more than two decades, will assume added executive and administrative responsibilities.

Mr. Bernard, who holds a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering and an M.Sc. in Hydrometallurgy, has more than 30 years of senior mining management experience in Canada and around the world.

He will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on operational matters; for developing, budgeting and implementing field programs; for liaising with government and regulators; and for expanding and directing the Company’s human resources. Mr. Bernard will be based at Roxmark’s Beardmore, Ontario office. "These changes were initiated by management and will benefit the Company as it moves to the next level by taking greater advantage of specialization and by harnessing personal skills most effectively," said Malouf. "I look forward to continuing to assist Roxmark in capitalizing on its
exceptional resource base."

"Lou Bernard’s experience will be an important additional asset for Roxmark" said Chairman Phil Cunningham. "In addition to driving essential field programs, he significantly expands our management resources."

About Roxmark Mines:

Roxmark Mines is a Canadian-based junior resource company involved in exploration and development of gold and molybdenum properties in the Geraldton-Beardmore area of Northern Ontario. Assets include the Nortoba-Tyson molybdenum property, a fully-permitted on-site mill, and six former highly productive gold mines which generated nearly two million ounces of gold from high grade ore. Existing infrastructure above and below ground at these mines will provide important advantages in developing additional gold-bearing structures. Further information is available at roxmark.com.
