EC, Paramount Gold (PGDP) -- No, this company has only been around about a year or so. An Ottawa-based entrepenuer by the name of Chris Crupi, who also has another privately held gold mining company, took control of a burnt-out Pink Sheet shell that was formerly called Panelmaster, about a year ago. See their Form 10SB filed with the SEC, latest amendment dated 2/6/06, for more info.

I understand your agita about Pink Sheet stocks, and that (together with the lack of accountability since they don't file with regulatory agencies) is why I don't usually mess with these. I made an exception in Paramount's case since the stock seems to trade pretty actively and the kind of trading hijinks you have referred to are few & far between.

In any event, if company IR is right you may be able to buy this on the OTCBB in a matter of a few weeks. Personally I think their estimate of the time it takes to get past the NASD is a tad aggressive.

They say in their Form 10SB that they believe they have enough cash to keep their program going until 5/31. When I look at all the activity they are doing, both in Mexico and Peru, I am amazed that they could do all this with just the $1 M they raised a few months ago. Do you think that is achievable or would it be more reasonable to expect to be hearing of another equity raise in the near future (ie next month)?
